just add a bit to state that custom icons must be a 512x512px png under 1024kb so idiots like me aren't confused when uploading a 1.6mb png crashes the app 😭

that or add a feature that automatically resizes/compresses images to those specifications

Hi @breadguyyy,
there is no explicit limit regarding resolution or filesize, it not even necessary to be square. I just tested this with a 2MB wallpaper, worked without issue. Perhaps you could provide the exact file which did not work?
