hi team,
thanks for your excellent job.
When i deploy the DeepEP on the ML platform with 4 nodes. i've encoutered the following issue:
i have installed the GDRCopy and NVSHMEM following the readme doc. And the gdrcopy_copybw output are as follows:
Is there anything wrong?
@sphish commented on GitHub (Apr 22, 2025):
Can you check if nvidia-peermem is correctly installed?
@Cydia2018 commented on GitHub (Apr 24, 2025):
I encountered the same issue "nvshmem_src/src/host/transport/transport.cpp:nvshmemi_transport_init:275: init failed for transport: IBGDA"
@allan0703 commented on GitHub (Apr 27, 2025):
Thank you for your reply.
I checked my software versions. I am using an IB network card, but the installation locations of the network card drivers on my 2 of 4 nodes were different, and one of the network cards had not loaded
nvidia-peermemmodules.So, I reinstalled the network card drivers and found that nvidia-peermem was loaded (it might not be loaded on some machines).
Finally, I am able to successfully run
test_internode.py@yejingfu commented on GitHub (May 1, 2025):
@allan0703 did you resolved this issue?
I got this problem as well when running test_lowlatency.py in a single node.
