On normal program exit, the application should call destroy_process_group to ensure that any pending NCCL operations have finished in this process. This constraint has always been present, but this warning has only been added since PyTorch 2.4 (function operator())

@sphish commented on GitHub (Mar 4, 2025):
No, NCCL is not necessary for DeepEP, you can disable NCCL by setting build env
See: https://github.com/deepseek-ai/DeepEP/tree/main/third-party#5-build-and-installation
@MinhuiWan commented on GitHub (Mar 5, 2025):
I have set NVSHMEM_USE_NCCL=0 during install nvshmem, but execute “python test_intranode.py”, will call init_dist and use nccl。Will this have an impact?
@sphish commented on GitHub (Mar 5, 2025):
This behavior doesn't meet expectations. You may need to check your network environment.
