Hi all,

I have installed gdrcopy and nvshmem in container (with gdrcopy_copybw, nvshmem-info -a verified), but when I run

python3 tests/test_intranode.py

I encounter the following errors:

Any hints on how to solve the problem?

It seems something wrong with the compilation/link, runtime can not find the kernel symbol. We never run into such errors, I suggest you check your compilation toolchains/compilation flags/link flags, and you may reproduce this even for any kernel but not DeepEP. Or just try to Google "named symbol not found" :)

turns out modifying cuda arch value solved this problem.
I was running tests on A100 and saw in setup.py line 12, "only support Hopper arch ...",
and in line 13, 9.0 is the cuda arch value for H series NV gpu (H100/H800/H200).

12 # TODO: currently, we only support Hopper architecture, we may add Ampere support later
 13 os.environ['TORCH_CUDA_ARCH_LIST'] = '9.0'

after replace 9.0 with 8.0, which represents A series NV gpu arch, intranode.py test run successfully,
although not so sure whether "only support Hopper arch", "may add Ampere support later" will effect the performance on A gpus

Fixed and can take a look, hopefully it is helpful
