Summary

I'm a long-time Deepseek user, mainly solving complex technical problems: network configs, WireGuard VPN, encryption, RSS servers (FreshRSS), corporate messaging (BeeBEEP), system migrations (Debian, Windows 11), and more.

After dozens of long, detailed conversations, I've built a relationship of trust and collaboration with Deepseek. However, every time I start a new chat, all this information is lost. Deepseek doesn't remember:

which OS I use (Debian 13, Windows 11)
my network setup (VPN, routing, firewall)
problems I've already solved
my communication preferences (technical style, ready-to-use commands)

This forces me to repeat the same information every time, slowing down work and causing frustration.

Request

I'd like to have an optional user profile where I can save:

basic info (OS, hardware, configs)
persistent memory of past conversations (with my control over what to keep)
response preferences (technical style, detailed explanations, copyable commands)
ability to export or delete this data at any time

This would be a huge improvement for me and many others who use Deepseek as a daily work tool.
