Labels: Bug, UI/UX

Description
A UI inconsistency has been observed where there appears to be an invisible interactive element or unintended whitespace directly above the "Settings" button in the user interface. This area triggers hover/focus states but lacks visible components, leading to potential user confusion or accidental clicks.

Steps to Reproduce
Navigate to the interface containing the Settings button (e.g., user profile menu).

Hover or click slightly above the Settings button (see attached mockup from file image.png).

Observe the unexpected interactive behavior or spacing.

Expected Behavior
The area above the Settings button should either:

  • Be Removed
  • Contain a visible UI element (e.g., proper spacing or a defined button).
  • Have no interactive functionality if empty.

Actual Behavior
The space above the Settings button behaves like an interactive element (responds to hover/clicks and when clicked takes you to settings) but lacks visual cues.

Environment
OS: [Windows 11]

Browser: [Chrome]

Device: [Desktop]

Additional Context

Impact: This may affect user experience, especially for users navigating via keyboard or screen readers.

laptop specs:
Browser: Opera

Device: Laptop

edit:
there is one div tag before the settings button

I tried changing the name of this tag,
