DeepSeek-R1 Enhanced Automation

DeepSeek-R1 demonstrates state-of-the-art reasoning capabilities through:

  • Cold-start RL architecture addressing repetition/readability issues
    • Math/Code/Reasoning performance comparable to OpenAI-o1
      • Open-sourced models including 6 distilled variants
        Combined with browser-use, this enables:
        🔹 Vision-free automation through enhanced logical reasoning
        🔹 Self-correcting execution for complex workflows
        🔹 Improved accuracy in DOM element handling

This demo represents a paradigm shift in web automation, moving beyond visual pattern matching to true cognitive processing.

Not an issue, just a demo combine DeepSeek-r1 with browser-use to achieve web automation.
DeepSeek-r1 is blowing my mind, you guys did a great work!

Could you please provide a basic code on how you used Browser-Use with DeepSeek-r1. Im getting errors when I use DeepSeek-r1. Thanks

This is the error I get:
Error code: 400 - {'error': {'message': 'The first message (except the system message) of deepseek-reasoner must be a user message, but an assistant message detected.', 'type': 'invalid_request_error', 'param': None, 'code': 'invalid_request_error'}}

Check out my web search and web browser tools, use the deepseek wrapper so deepseek can call the tools

Anyone have an example of using browser-use with r1?
When I use R1 on Fireworks, browser-use get stuck on the first step.
