Description of the Issue

The main chat interface at chat.deepseek.com is completely inaccessible from Russia without a VPN. This issue has been ongoing continuously for the last 12 hours.

When attempting to open the chat, the page either hangs indefinitely or drops with a connection timeout error. At the same time, the regional subdomain asia.deepseek.com throws an NXDOMAIN (Server not found) error.

Crucially, the chat platform starts working perfectly the exact moment a VPN is turned on. This proves that the backend is functional, but there is a severe routing or block issue specifically affecting connections to the chat interface from Russian networks.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Try to open https://deepseek.com from any Russian ISP or mobile network without a VPN.
  2. The page loads infinitely and eventually throws a timeout error.
  3. Turn on a VPN (e.g., European servers) and refresh — the chat interface opens instantly.

Expected Behavior

chat.deepseek.com should accept connections and load properly without forcing users to use a VPN.

Additional Context

  • The issue has been persistent for more than 12 hours straight.
  • Local network monitors show a massive spike in complaints from users trying to access the chat.
  • Manual DNS tweaks (like Google DNS)
