Describe the bug
The first issue is on my iPhone 15 Pro Max, and its related to the keyboard. This problem was not there before the new update.
I am unable to add a line break and move to the next line. Also, when there is a submit button, the keyboard should not show the submit/enter key like in other AI apps such as Gemini, Claude, or ChatGPT.
Everything else is great the iOS app is very helpful, and the new updates are amazing. Thank you, @deepseek-ai team

Noted. The iOS keyboard issues (line break not working, enter key showing when it shouldn't) have been recorded.
This is your first issue with us. Thanks for taking the time to report it, and for your kind words about the updates.
Added to the second batch under UI improvements.

i hit this same keyboard quirk shipping a chat surface for a tiny weekend prototype back in march. the return-key-as-submit thing is an iOS textInputTraits flag (UIReturnKeySend vs UIReturnKeyDefault) and most React Native and webview-based AI apps default to Send because it bumps engagement metrics, then never expose a setting. the fix on the web side is enterKeyHint='enter' plus capturing shift+return for submit, but on iOS 17+ the native keyboard still ignores enterKeyHint inside contenteditable divs about 30% of the time. ended up adding a tiny newline button next to the mic icon, ugly but it worked.

@m13v Thanks for the detailed technical breakdown. From iOS textInputTraits to the industry-wide default behavior in RN/Webview apps, to the contenteditable quirk on iOS 17+ — you've covered the full stack.
Your "add a newline button" workaround wasn't "ugly" — it was a pragmatic fix given the platform constraints.
I've added these notes to the #1249 record as a technical reference for the official team. Appreciate you sharing this.
