📄 Description

Adding NAVIG to the list, with the bilingual guide their CONTRIBUTING asks for (English + Simplified Chinese, one PR).

NAVIG is a local-first AI operator OS — a small kernel with a CLI and a desktop shell. DeepSeek is a first-class provider in both shapes the API publishes: OpenAI at https://api.deepseek.com and Anthropic at https://api.deepseek.com/anthropic.

What the guide walks through:

  • install, then point NAVIG at DeepSeek (the key goes into a local vault, not a config file)
  • first run, and navig cost history for a priced receipt per session
  • navig serve — a loopback OpenAI-compatible endpoint, so Kilo Code, Cline, opencode, crush, goose, Continue, Aider or OpenHands can use DeepSeek without holding the key
  • the Claude Code path: the /anthropic base URL plus the [1m] suffix

On the CONTRIBUTING checks: the guide uses deepseek-v4-pro and deepseek-flash. The pricing page (Oct 2026) names the Flash model deepseek-flash while still accepting deepseek-v4-flash / deepseek-v4-flash-vision-exp as aliases and serving the retired deepseek-chat / deepseek-r1 names from Flash — NAVIG prices those at the Flash rate rather than dropping them. 1M context and reasoning effort are covered in prose, and I deliberately did not copy a price table: the one in CONTRIBUTING is a snapshot, so the guide links to the official page instead.

I recorded this on 2026-10-18: 46 tests on the endpoint, and a live check — GET /v1/models returns 200 with the priced catalog, no token gives 401, a non-loopback peer gets 403.
