Description
This PR addsProject David to the AI Agent frameworks section of the README.
What is Project David?
Project David is an open-source, self-hosted LLM orchestration platform designed as a fully-featured alternative to the OpenAI Assistants API. It provides the necessary infrastructure for Level 4 agentic workflows, state management, and long-term memory.
In addition to supporting developer-defined custom function calling, the platform includes several built-in tools out of the box:
computer- Gives the assistant access to a containerized Linux environment connected to the internet.deep_research- Enables multi-hop reasoning, evidence gathering, and long-horizon synthesis across multiple inference passes.web_search- Allows the assistant to query search engines and synthesize live web content.file_search- Retrieves and utilizes files stored within accessible vector stores.code_interpreter- Executes Python code and performs data analysis in a secure sandbox.DeepSeek Integration
Our platform is model-agnostic. Developers can easily point the inference engine directly at the DeepSeek API, combining DeepSeek's reasoning models with our agentic infrastructure, all while maintaining data sovereignty and self-hosted control.
Please let me know if any adjustments are needed to the table formatting or description length.
