Summary

Add LightTranslate (轻译) to the Applications section of the English and Simplified Chinese lists, with integration guides and its project icon.

Disclosure: I am the project author. This is a listing request for an open-source DeepSeek integration, built with Codex, rather than an official DeepSeek endorsement.

Project

The tool translates selected text into Simplified Chinese in a cursor-adjacent popup using Ctrl+Alt+Q, and provides English vocabulary lookup. Users bring their own DeepSeek API key. It calls /chat/completions directly with streaming enabled and thinking disabled; credentials are encrypted locally with Windows current-user DPAPI. API usage is billed to the user's own account.

Verification

  • Checked the existing listing and previous issues/PRs for LightTranslate; no duplicate found at submission time.
  • Added matching English/Chinese entries and configuration steps.
  • Checked relative document/icon links and git whitespace checks.
  • The published app passed Windows compilation, isolated settings tests, local mock API/self-tests and an isolated installation test. No paid live API test was performed for this submission.
  • No API keys or user settings are included.

Submitted as a draft PR under my publishing workflow; maintainers can inspect the proposed entry and request adjustments. I would appreciate feedback on suitability for this directory.
