Note: A part of this PR is wolf#367.
Lutris v0.5.19 is the first version of Lutris that uses Proton instead of wine (yep, v0.5.18 and older ones do not), which addresses some graphical glitches and greatly improves compatibility.
Because Proton is different as Wine (specifically, Lutris calls umu-launcher to use Steam compatibility tools, i.e. Proton), issue #292 is not simple as just prevent using old cache when building image, but also need patches and permission similar as Steam.
This PR has been tested by myself. I've been using it for Lutris from v0.5.19 to v0.5.22 about a month and it works perfectly fine for me.
How to test this PR locally without affecting the original Lutris 0.5.18:
Firstly run commands:
Then in your wolf config (
/etc/wolf/cfg/config.toml), add:Finally, restart wolf, connect to wolf and start "Lutris22".
Other notices:
on+on,on+off,off+on,off+off).xdg_surface ..., just restart the WolfLutris container and retry. If it still does not work then maybe you can only run the game without Gamescope.🔄 This issue represents a GitHub Pull Request. It cannot be merged through Gitea due to API limitations.
