Hello, I just installed Wolf on my unraid server and it seems to have installed without error. I can run the Test Ball ok but the Wolf UI starts to load with a black screen then quits and my moonlight client reports Something went wrong on your Host PC when starting the stream. It goes on to troubleshoot asking to check if its DRM content or to restart the host PC.
Here's my diagnostics from the plugin:
`== Plugin ==
version: 2026.08.19a
appdata: /mnt/user/appdata/gamestreamgow
run ids: 99:100 (uid:gid apps run as)
compose: /mnt/user/appdata/gamestreamgow/docker-compose.yml
ok compose file present
== Containers ==
ok wolf: running
ok wolf-den: running
no app containers running
== Saved client run ids (cfg/config.toml) ==
ok all paired clients run as 99
== App state access ==
stamp: 99:100
check: real write access as 99:100 (honours inherited ACLs)
ok 99:100 can write everything under /mnt/user/appdata/gamestreamgow/profile-data
ok 99:100 can write everything under /mnt/user/appdata/gamestreamgow/profile_data
== Controller hot-plug (fake-udev) ==
ok /mnt/user/appdata/gamestreamgow/fake-udev is executable
appdata mount options: rw,nosuid,nodev,noatime,user_id=0,group_id=0,default_permissions,allow_other
== udev rules ==
ok /etc/udev/rules.d/85-wolf.rules installed
ok rules use the current Wolf device match
== Wolf runtime socket volume ==
ok wolf-socket is root-owned, as the embedded PulseAudio requires
== Wayland socket wait (Test ball) ==
ok WOLF_SKIP_WAYLAND_SOCKET_WAIT is set
Done. Nothing was modified.`
@JBailes commented on GitHub (Sep 4, 2026):
Pushed some hopeful fixes, diagnostic changes, document changes on this.
@RERLTuna commented on GitHub (Sep 4, 2026):
I updated the images and same thing, ball works but when I go to the Wolf UI it starts to load then crashes, I don't see any issues in the diagnostics.
"Something went wrong on your host PC when starting the stream. Make sure you don't have any DRM-protected content open on your host PC. You can also try restarting your host PC."
The diagnostics are the same, and the plugin version is the same.
