Ok, so i just installed this plugin from ca on my unraid server and have hit several issues.
Just as proof, the modeset for my nvidia card is correct
So the first issue is this:
It shows correctly that i have an nvidia and an amd card (amd is igpu, nvidia is normal dgpu), but for some reason the amd gpu is not properly shown with the name and instead shows the same as the nvidia one.
Next i have started gow with these settings:
So next, in my the moonlight app on my smartphone for example i can see in my network is a "Wolf" named instance running and i can connect to it and get the pin to enter, but where do i actually enter it? Readme just says
Wolf will surface a one-time PIN URL on the host; open it in a browser, paste the PIN your Moonlight client shows, and you're paired.. What URL? I do not get an URL, i get a PIN and nowhere i can enter it. The two running containers dont seem to have a webui of any kind, connecting to 192.168.178.220:8080 doesnt lead to anywhere. Then the readme says there should be a button in the settings menu "Deploy" which is just wrong, the button is "Install" and even after installing it the button doesnt change to anything else (like stop or so), so i cannot even stop the compose its running from the settings menu. So how do i stop this stack now (other than stopping and removing the containers manually from the docker tab)?
Then for my nvidia card i had already the modeset value set via the syslinux.cfg file, so thats correct. Under https://github.com/games-on-whales/unraid-plugin/blob/main/docs/FAQ.md#fix step 3 its said to
Set the modeset parameter to 1 (or Y)., but where or how do i set this modeset parameter? I screenshot of what you actually meant here would be helpful. I can see the kernel module under tools->system drivers and i can also see at the left is an input box for "Modprobe.d Config File", but what do i enter there? "modeset=1"?@JBailes commented on GitHub (May 20, 2026):
Thank you for the feedback! I'll get it fixed today!
