Currently when Wolf-den is idling, it has a constant 3-5% of CPU usage (On a AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX PRO). As long as the wolf-den docker container is running, this never decreases. With "idle" I mean that the wolf-den container is running, but no user has opened the web-panel nor is connected in any other way to the wolf-den server.
This has as effect that a NAS that was idling at around 38w, now idles at around 55w by just having the wolf-den container running (Roughly 17w more of power consumption just to have wolf-den running in the background).
Expected would be to see zero or near zero CPU usage during idle.

Same here, I have the same issue. When checking processes with top, "dotnet" cpu usage is 6%
I am running on AMD Ryzen 7700X 8-core desktop CPU
@Skerga commented on GitHub (Jan 24, 2026):
Does this happen over time, or is this a constant load?
I'll have a look at this when i find the time. Not sure yet what might cause this on idle, but maybe its the dotnetvm optimizing the bytecode. I'll check if maybe an AoT version fixes this.
@HashimHS commented on GitHub (Jan 24, 2026):
It is a constant load. Happens pretty much instantly once the container is started.
@Skerga commented on GitHub (Feb 2, 2026):
So after a bit of research i've found some things.
I'll look into how to and if disabling the Console input might fix the CPU usage.
@SpaceFrags commented on GitHub (Feb 11, 2026):
Yes, indeed I have the same problem which I have noticed... Much heavier stacks still use less percentage of CPU.
Here some example of % Wolf-Den usues compared to other (spoiler it is always the first and i'm not even using it):

Seeing the same thing. Picture from Dockge. Idle should definitely be lower than this.
