HI, and thanks for this awesome product, I'm using it to run multiple emulators on my PC without any problems, However when using moonlight on my android TV, connecting controller + existing dpad (remote control) causes the controller to connect and disconnect repeatedly, usually controller connected message should happen only once after pressing a button.
The Image is captured running PCSX2, but I think the issue is related to input device being created and removed.
The issue disappear once I disconnect dpad, and not limited to PCSX2.

Hey @DRFR33MAN24
Are you able to attach the wolf logs.
Also what type of controller is it? (Xbox, ps4)
Also based on the video, the controller connection / disconnection messages... it's hard to tell but is that the Android TV notifications?
@DRFR33MAN24 commented on GitHub (May 10, 2025):
Currently I can't replicate this issue as I don't have access to the physical device, on emulator (avd) the issue doesn't happen but it's not a decisive measure since I can't force it to recognize my controller or forward it.
the controller used is an official PS3 controller but there's no problem when it's connected alone without dpad (I mean on the android side)
The notification you're seeing is PCSX2 device connected notification, but I can confirm that /dev/input contents change while this happen which mean a device is connecting and disconnecting.
BTW It's not the first time I ran into this issue, I once ran an older version of moonlight android client and I missed with controller multi packet or bitmask and the same happend, I'm referring to this:
'''
Active mask
The active mask represent a bitfield with bits set for each controller present. If you combine this with the ctrl # (controller number) you can detect when a controller has been unplugged.
'''
in wolf documentation, since then I'm compiling and using the offical unmodified source, but I wanted to share that for reference.
Ok my bad I'm going to close this until I gather more info, but the gist is Samsung TV running android with official dpad and PS3 controller causing multi controller problems.
