Hi, I need help making the container share the same data (config, runners, games saves and prefixes) for Lutris/Heroic/Steam from the host machine. I want to access the same games and save when I play from my locally installed Lutris and from the Lutris containers spinned by wolf. This could be done with mounts for sure, but I don't really know how because, for example in lutris, there are files in /var/lutris and files in the home dir.

Well for Steam it depends on the version of steam you have installed, if you have the native version you'd want to mount:
/home/USERNAME/.steam/debian-installation:/home/retro/.steam/debian-installation:rw
if you have the flatpak verion of steam you will have to replace the first path with the one under .var/app (i think, never used the steam flatpak).

If you have non-Steam games in your Steam library you need to also make sure that the paths for them exist so you need to also mount /home/USERNAME/.steam/debian-installation:/home/USERNAME/.steam/debian-installation:rw. Replace USERNAME with your actual user, since non-Steam games are accessed via a full path and we don't want to modify anything in the container that would brick the local install.

I never tried that with Lutris or Heroic but It should work the same if you mount their main folders to the equivalent on the container side. (remember flatpak and native installs can be at different locations)
and all files that those apps might search for should be mounted to the same location in the container to work and not require any changes that would brick the local install.
