When I connect to Wolf, I can use my controller (Xbox, USB connected) to select and start my apps, but once I am in an app the controller does not work and is not recognized. In the logs, I see this warning every time I start an app:

Are you using Docker or Podman? Can you share the full docker run or compose.yml file that you are using to run Wolf? There's most likely something wrong with your setup.
Also, please share the full Wolf logs from starting up the container.

Well in getting a full set of logs I found a syntax error in my config.toml file, fixing that fixed this issue.
