The game is Euro Truck 2
In Steam launch mode:

The game is running, the music is playing. And when exit the big picture mode, i can see the game screen. but the steam screen always on left, and the controller cannot close it.

In directly launch mode:
the screen is split as two window, the steam as left, and the controller only on the right game window. and the image is bad.

@ABeltramo only one way the game screen is ok, run steam, and start the game, then exit the big picture mode.
and I toggling the fullscreen option, it's nothing happened.

but when I toggling the graphic qualitity level multi time, in some once, it's change to fullscreen.

I'm tested the Skyline2, it's OK, so maybe the Euro Truck is special ?

Had the same issue with Secret of Mana. Forcing it to use Proton-9.0.4 fixed the issue.

EDIT: It worked once but windowed after that, despite switching back and forth.
