I’m seeing the following error: when I start a Steam session, leave the stream (without stopping the container), and then reconnect, the rumble no longer works.
Steps to reproduce
Observed behavior
Rumble does not work after the reconnection.
Expected behavior
Rumble should continue to function after leaving and re‑joining the stream.
Current configuration
All permissions and udev rules have been set according to the quick‑start guide.
Workaround
Close wolf‑ui and recreate the container; rumble works again after a fresh start.
Controllers tested
Additional note
Stopping the Steam container via wolf‑ui, or stopping the wolf‑ui container via Moonlight, does not resolve the issue.
Streaming devices used

Edit: oka after stopping the steam container from wolf ui and stopping wolf-ui from moonlight and start a new session, rumble on the controller works again. only if i reconnect to an existing session, rumble doesnt work

@TheZireael commented on GitHub (Feb 11, 2026):
I don't have dualsense controller. I tested this on my controller on XBOX mode, PS mode and the new mode i am working on. And this seems to fix it as far as i tested. (https://github.com/TheZireael/wolf/commit/be2fa39f1fba26ebc3564422827d60693c9b5e9f)
But be cautious about it, it needs a human review. I dont understand C++ well, AI used on this commit. It can be said that it is vibe coded to be honest.
