Hey there!
I've been trying to set up wolf on my TrueNAS Scale (25.10.1) machine with an Ryzen 7600.
Gstreamer correctly identifies the Ryzen's iGPU and tries to use that instead of software encoding. However, the wolf container fails to load the driver.
I am using the default docker compose file with the latest
stableimages.Any help or hints towards debugging steps would be greatly appreciated! :)
@ABeltramo commented on GitHub (Feb 7, 2026):
Please post the full Docker logs, that little snippet doesn't show the full picture. Possibly add the env variable
WOLF_LOG_LEVEL=DEBUGtoo@danieldietzler commented on GitHub (Feb 7, 2026):
I already bumped the gstreamer log level too, I hope that isn't an issue
@ABeltramo commented on GitHub (Feb 8, 2026):
I'm sorry but that's not what I was looking for. I was asking for the Wolf logs, not the Gstreamer logs. Possibly all the way until you try to start a streaming session.
Or does the container actually stop running there where you posted the logs?
@danieldietzler commented on GitHub (Feb 8, 2026):
Yes, that is the last line. Nothing else happens afterwards. Interestingly it didn't actually die, the container is still "running". It just freezes at that point
@danieldietzler commented on GitHub (Feb 21, 2026):
After a BIOS update it's working now, thanks for looking into this!
