Summary:

Clicking the admin toggle switch in the User Management UI is not functioning correctly. When the toggle is activated, an error occurs and the user's admin privileges are not updated as expected.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Go to the User Management page in the WolfManager UI.
  2. Locate a user in the list.
  3. Click the admin toggle to grant the user administrative privileges.
  4. Observe the error message and check that the user role remains unchanged.

Expected Result:

  • The user should be granted admin privileges immediately.
  • A success notification or UI feedback should be shown.

Actual Result:

  • An error message appears (specific message may vary).
  • The user does not receive admin privileges.

Impact:

  • Prevents users from being elevated to administrative roles via the UI.
  • Requires manual role assignment via default.toml or as .003 branch editing in the db itself.

Suggested Fix:

  • Investigate the API or frontend logic tied to the admin toggle component.
  • Ensure the correct request payload is sent and role change is persisted in the database.
  • Add UI error handling and feedback to surface failure causes.
