👋 Thank you for rea

Hi, and thank you for building rea. I'll be upfront about why I'm writing.

I work with a lot of developers, and one challenge we all share is that it's hard to get people to understand the amazing things we've built just by looking at a GitHub repo and reading through a README. So I built some tools to help each of us grow. They're free, I'm not selling anything, and I'm not looking for money. I just think what you built is genuinely cool, and I'd love to see more people use it.

So I ran rea through one of those tools, and I'd like to suggest a small change to your README that makes it easier to take in.

👉 See the new README in one click

Open the proposed README, rendered →

It's your README, exactly as you wrote it, with a link to an explainer page right under the title and two diagrams just after your intro: what rea plugs into, and how it works.

🎨 And a page that tells the story

I also made a full visual explainer for rea:

rea-explainer.netlify.app →

The rea explainer page

🤖 There's a version your AI can read, too

Near the bottom of that page there's a section most people will scroll right past: a knowledge pack. It's your whole repo, indexed so an AI assistant can search it and answer questions about rea. It also includes a plain-words primer for people, a list of every public name and command, and a small server to plug the index into an AI agent.

So the same work gives you two on-ramps: one a person can read, and one an AI can use. Both are meant to make it easier for other people to pick up what you've built and start using it.

See the knowledge pack section →

It comes with the explainer, free, and there's nothing for you to set up.

What I'd change

  • README.md: 24 lines added, 0 removed. Nothing you wrote would be changed.
  • docs/explainer/architecture.svg
  • docs/explainer/flow.svg

I haven't touched your repo. If you'd like this, say the word and I'll open a pull request with exactly that, or you're welcome to take whatever is useful. The diagrams were generated from your repo, but I can't promise every detail on them is right, so please give them a quick accuracy check. If you'd rather not, closing this is completely fine, and I won't send another.

Thanks again for building this, and for making it open.

@stuinfla commented on GitHub (Oct 14, 2026):

A quick update, in case it is useful: the explainer now opens with an 82-second narrated overview video at the top of the page, and a one-picture, five-step summary of how rea works sits right under it: https://rea-explainer.netlify.app

Nothing is needed from you. If you have a question, or anything on the page is wrong about rea, I'm at sikerr@gmail.com or +1 (312) 953-9668.
