Symptom

npm run knip repeatedly reports redundant/misleading config entries:

.codex/** / .devin/** in ignore
redundant entry patterns for scripts/rea.mjs and scripts/scan-todos.mjs
redundant project entry vitest.config.ts

Evidence

From current local run:

.codex/** knip.json Remove from ignore
.devin/** knip.json Remove from ignore
scripts/rea.mjs knip.json Remove redundant entry pattern
scripts/scan-todos.mjs knip.json Remove redundant entry pattern
vitest.config.ts knip.json Remove redundant project pattern

Impact

Current config requires non-trivial cleanup to keep dead-code checks actionable. Repetitive false-positive noise slows future dependency audits and reduces trust in Knip signal quality.

Suggested fix

Treat the four entries as noise and simplify knip.json accordingly:

remove .codex/** and .devin/** if they are already excluded via project scope
remove redundant script and project patterns to express intent directly.
