📄 Description

Main CI timed out while a stdio smoke fixture attempted unsupported Linux Hopper/display work alongside repeated full-catalog validation.

Exercise the missing-target MCP error and compiled catalog parity without an initial target on every host. Retain the macOS selected-document/database fixtures and require a structured lifecycle record for the fatal-log assertion. The 15-second deadlines remain unchanged.

Validation: npm run build:cached, npm run check:ci, and all four runtime tests passed locally on macOS. All four Linux test shards and coverage passed on the merged head. The review thread was addressed and resolved. No real Hopper/Ghidra verification was performed.
