📄 Description

README-only pull requests currently start all four source-test shards, every native package platform and Apple artifact verification. The 17-file number-only #1334 run took 34m28s; its macOS x64 job started about 23 minutes after the first job. Compare each PR against its merge base and include root README*.md in the existing documentation scope, retaining formatting, generated-document validation and required aggregate checks.

Reuse the existing native package runners for real Node Inspector CLI/MCP verification on Linux x64/arm64 and Windows x64, as already done on macOS x64/arm64. This removes three separate runner setups/installations/builds while retaining all five real host checks, runtime identity assertions, a 10-minute Inspector step deadline and the existing heap/thread limits.

Cancel superseded CI for the same PR/main branch so older main runs do not keep occupying hosted runners. The latest main push still verifies the full tree. Release publication has an independent workflow/concurrency group and is unchanged.

Mixed/runtime/test/workflow/unknown-path changes keep full verification. Git comparison errors fail classification and required checks. No test, supported host, coverage threshold or real-provider/publication gate is removed.

Verification:

85 focused tests pass: 12 classifier regressions execute the actual workflow shell against real Git histories; the native-host contract verifies unconditional Inspector steps on the five documented package hosts; release workflow and curated Windows path checks also pass.
The actual #1334 head against synchronized main classifies required=true before and required=false after; the merge-base diff contains exactly the 17 READMEs.
npm run check:ci (including the unchanged duplication gate), generated-document validation, formatting and git diff --check pass.

CI/release tests share a deterministic Git fixture; their real shell, metadata and ancestry cases remain intact. The duplicate-code threshold remains 2.5%.

No new real Hopper/Ghidra verification was performed. The final GitHub CI must verify both package and actual Inspector behavior in each combined native lane. A documentation follow-up will record the deployed policy and verify the documentation path on GitHub.
