Before submitting

  • I searched the open and closed issues for a related report.
  • I removed credentials, tokens, private paths, and sensitive target data.

Area

Evidence, artifacts, or reconstruction

Observed behavior

With an inventoried file named web3:app.js, an HTML script reference web3:app.js receives resolution_status: resolved and points to that local file. Without the file, it receives not-found instead of external.

Reproduction

Call resolveArtifactPathByContext with declaredPath: "web3:app.js", sourcePath: "index.html", context: "html-reference", and a files map containing index.html and web3:app.js in the same container.

Reproduced with the production resolver; only the import suffix changed from .js to .ts. No packaged CLI/MCP run.

Expected behavior

Recognize the URI scheme and return external; digits are valid after the first scheme character.

Impact and scope

The static HTML graph can add a local loads edge for an external scheme. This is a classification/evidence issue; no external request or filesystem escape was observed.

REA version

5.0.0; commit 2bf3663f65.

Runtime and platform

Node.js 26.10.0; macOS arm64.

Target and artifact context

JavaScript/HTML artifact inventory.
