📄 Description

The native Qwen verifier previously supplied an explicit skill directory and left HOME unbound, so it did not establish default personal-skill discovery. Bind both HOME and USERPROFILE to the disposable account, remove the fixture's skills.directories setting, and assert setup does not introduce one.

Qwen now discovers the REA-installed skill through its native home search path. Preserve the isolated selected profile, configuration backup and unrelated MCP registration checks, complete catalog discovery, Unicode-path analysis, full offloaded Evidence readback, and owned-process cleanup. Update the testing guide to state this verified scope. No production configuration or tool-contract changes.

Validation on Linux x64, Node 24.18.0, Qwen Code 0.25.0:

  • Native verify:qwen-client in chat and call modes: passed with all 170 tools. The analysis case loaded the installed skill without an explicit skill setting and read the complete, schema-valid Evidence artifact.
  • Both runs ended with verified empty owned-process lineages.
  • npm run check:fast and normal commit/push hooks.

The model endpoint is a deterministic loopback fixture. Live cloud models, native Windows/macOS clients and real Hopper/Ghidra are unverified by this lane. No additional default CI job or helper-only test is added.
