Problem

Search rebuilds full maps, executes caller-supplied Python regex, and can return every match in one bridge frame.

Scope

Add literal and regex modes, pagination, pattern/output bounds, safe regex behavior, cancellation, caching per unchanged document, and typed failures.

Acceptance criteria

Large results stay below the bridge frame limit.
Literal mode avoids regex semantics.
Excessive patterns fail with stable errors.
Searches are deterministic and cancellable.

Implemented on main: search inputs support literal and regex modes with offset/limit pagination; Hopper validates bounded regex work and deterministic pagination, and Ghidra exposes the same bounded paginated contract. Regression coverage includes tests/bridgeRegex.test.ts and provider inventory tests.
