Summary

Contributors using Claude Code currently get no repository guidance or skills: Claude Code reads CLAUDE.md and .claude/, not AGENTS.md or .agents/skills/. This adds a minimal project setup so Claude Code follows the same rules as other agents. No related issue; contributor-tooling proposal.

Change and scope

CLAUDE.md imports @AGENTS.md (single source of truth) plus a few Claude Code notes.
.claude/skills/* symlink to .agents/skills/*.
.claude/settings.json: allows documented dev commands and read-only git; asks before git push / npm install; denies npm publish, force push, .env* reads.
.claude/hooks/format-edited-file.mjs: PostToolUse hook running pinned oxfmt on edited files; no-ops without deps, never blocks.
.gitignore: ignores .claude/settings.local.json, .claude/worktrees/.

Not included: any runtime, rea setup, or package change (.claude/ is not in package.json#files).

Documentation or usability only; no target interaction.

Validation performed

Hook fed a PostToolUse payload for an unformatted .ts file — reformatted by oxfmt 0.72.0, exit 0
oxfmt --check on the new files — all formatted
.claude/settings.json parses as JSON
