📄 Description

The Linux clean-host fixture enumerated ambient /proc before its own process fixture existed, so an unrelated protected process could fail the setup lane. The fixture now points inventory at a temporary proc root; production still uses /proc and fails closed on unknown caller-owned processes.

The Android descriptor schema also used literal parentheses in a negated character class. JavaScript accepts that pattern in ordinary and u modes but rejects it when clients compile advertised JSON Schema patterns in v mode. Hex escapes preserve the descriptor contract and compile across those modes.

The Devin JSON format fix is already present on current main at df3d96d and is not duplicated here.

Validation: source review, targeted pinned formatter, and git diff --check. Tests, builds, typechecks, lint, provider runs, and CI reruns were not run.

Failure evidence: PR #2783 schema-pattern shard and the downloaded shard/Portable logs record the v-mode descriptor-pattern rejection and unrelated /proc/<pid>/exe EACCES. The producing code was inspected on pinned main 72b9ab4a; the fix branch starts from fetched main 93e29d242. These logs establish the executed PR failure, while main attribution is based on source comparison rather than a local test run.

The existing advertised-pattern contract coverage remains in place; the process fixture still checks live executable identity and verifies that observation does not terminate it. No CI gate or production permission check is weakened.
