📄 Description

Summary

Official Ghidra 12.1.x releases ship native decompilers only for Linux x64 and Windows, while REA requires the host-architecture decompiler on macOS. docs/installation.md stated that requirement without saying how to satisfy it. This adds the buildNatives step, the output path that rea doctor reports as ghidra-native_decompiler, and a note to keep JAVA_HOME on an accepted JDK when Homebrew Gradle installs a newer one.

No contract or behavior changes.

Verification

  • On macOS arm64 with Ghidra 12.1.4 and Temurin JDK 21: gradle buildNatives (Homebrew Gradle 9.8.1) produced Ghidra/Features/Decompiler/build/os/mac_arm_64/decompile.
  • rea doctor --provider ghidra --json then reported every Ghidra check healthy, including ghidra-native_decompiler.
  • Real Ghidra analysis (npm run verify:ghidra) was not run; this is a documentation-only change.
