Summary

The testing guide says both duplication commands enforce 3%, but .jscpd.json configures 3.5%. Link the guide directly to the shared configuration instead of repeating a numeric limit that can drift. The checker configuration and commands are unchanged.

Documentation only; no CLI/MCP, provider, Evidence, package or installation behavior changes. Maintainer scope decision: not applicable. Found during a latest-main CI audit; no separate issue.

Validation performed

Source/config comparison: the affected guide said 3%; .jscpd.json has threshold: 3.5. Both npm commands use that configuration.
npm run check — passed, including architecture/module checks.
npm run docs:check — passed, including all 5 README consistency cases.
oxfmt --check docs/testing.md and git diff --check — passed.
Audit on base d0067ba34: 331 CI qualification, required-lane, report, history, selection, sequencer and discovery cases passed without skips; all 1,878 test files discovered exactly once.
Existing exact-base full qualification: 40 jobs passed; the separate source job is skipped because full shards include it. Push test report: 23,534 passed / 197 existing skips. These are base evidence. Current-head PR CI passed all 5 selected jobs; 24 code/provider jobs were intentionally excluded for this documentation-only change. Codex found no findings and Greptile scored 5/5 on 3c17332a3.

Heavy local checks ran sequentially on two CPUs. General check: 113.50 s wall / 208.31 s family CPU / 5,062.6 MiB sampled family RSS; docs check: 13.17 s / 15.91 s / 715.3 MiB. RSS sums descendants every 100 ms and may double-count shared pages or miss short/reparented children; no observed OOM. No performance improvement is claimed; agent-token cost is unmeasured. LeanToken retrieval returned an internal error, so inspection used pinned source and CI artifacts. No new real-provider or Windows verification was performed for this documentation change.
