  • I removed credentials, tokens, private paths, and sensitive target data.

Area

Provider or capability discovery

Observed behavior

podman/docker has internal localhost network mapping as name host.docker.internal it is local port mapper to localhost. but rea doctor does not recoginze that host as local host and refuse to connect

when ida-mcp.json configure as localhost instead of host.docker.internal it works.

Reproduction

  1. create podman rea with ida-mcp config
  2. create podman ida with fullly setup ida pro
  3. trying to get back into rea container and run rea doctor

Expected behavior

i expect host.docker.internal recognized as localhost
