Before submitting

  • I searched the open and closed issues and pull requests for a related proposal.
  • I understand the contribution scope must be reviewed before integration; open questions are welcome here.
  • This request does not include credentials, private samples, or sensitive target data.

Area

Native analysis or decompilation

Current limitation

I am trying to install REA on my agents, but I don't want to use Ghidra nor Hopper. I prefer Radare2, and I also have heard that it's token-efficient for agents anyway.

Use cases

No response

Desired outcome and success criteria

REA can be installed with only Radare2, with no Ghidra or Hopper installation.

Expected interaction with targets

No target interaction (documentation or usability only)

Target and scope details (optional)

No response

Verification available so far

Idea only; I need help defining checks

Verification details (optional)

No response

Alternatives considered

Installing Ghidra: too convoluted, interferes with my firewall via sharing a Java executable, token-inefficient
Installing Hopper: needs a license

Possible direction

No response

This would be very beneficial. Radare2 has its own mcp server.
