When you create a schedule with a few minutes cadence and it is long running, you get yourself with a lot of chats from that.
It would be nice to be able either to make it silent until the last iteration when the goal is achieved or to keep all messages in one chat.

For example I had an automation to track progress of a process which lasted 5 hours, and not knowing how long it will take I had it scheduled at 5 minutes, so 5 hours later, I had 60 new chats in the workspace.

I found some existing issues that might be related. Please check if any of these are duplicates or contain helpful solutions:

  1. 🟣 #199 Issue #199
Related to how chat/session state is created and reused when a conversation is tied to a workspace model. This issue is about automations creating a new chat for each scheduled run, which is another chat/session lifecycle problem in the same area.

  2. 🟢 #213 bug: a stalled agent session hangs the chat task forever, and the whole transcript is lost if you kill it
Both issues involve chat-task lifecycle for long-running or stalled runs. Issue #213 highlights that a chat task can hang indefinitely and transcript persistence only happens on completion, which is directly relevant to scheduled automations that keep spawning runs and chats over time.
