Hello,

On screenless devices (e.g. Docker containers), the Chrome CDP instance always starts at 800 x 600 px, and there is currently no way to change that.

It would be great to have a setting in the settings to specify the window size with which Open Computer opens the Chrome CDP instance.

At 800 x 600, many websites classify the browser as a mobile device and only show a reduced feature set, which makes web apps that are not intended for mobile use hard to work with.

Example: Open Computer running in Docker, using a desktop-oriented web app that needs a larger viewport to expose its full feature set.

Screenshot of the current default attached:

Thanks for considering this!

I found some existing issues that might be related. Please check if any of these are duplicates or contain helpful solutions:

  1. 🟣 #138 bug: Browser tool does not support custom viewport size for screenshots
This issue reports the same underlying limitation: the browser/CDP environment uses a fixed default viewport size with no configuration option, and the requested solution is to expose a setting for changing it. Although #138 focuses on screenshots, it is directly about the lack of custom viewport sizing in the browser tool.
