Feature request: Add Cline as a native coding agent backend

Summary

Please add Cline as a supported native coding agent backend, similar to the current Codex integration.

Open WebUI Computer already supports native coding agent backends such as Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, Grok, and OpenCode. It would be great if Cline could also be configured as an agent profile and selected from the model selector in the same way.

Motivation

Cline is widely used as a coding agent, especially by users who already rely on it for project-aware development workflows. Adding Cline as a native backend would allow users to use their existing Cline setup/subscription inside Open WebUI Computer without needing a separate API key or running it manually in a terminal tab.

This would make Cline feel like a first-class agent in cptr, consistent with the current Codex workflow.

Desired behavior

Users should be able to:

  1. Add a Cline agent profile from Settings.
  2. Configure the required Cline command, executable path, or connection settings.
  3. Select Cline from the model/provider selector like Codex.
  4. Start and resume conversations inside the current workspace.
  5. Give Cline the same workspace context and tool access model that existing native coding agents receive.
  6. Preserve conversation/session continuity where possible.

Expected UX

Ideally, Cline would appear alongside the existing coding agents:

Codex · Claude Code · Cursor · Grok · OpenCode · Cline

A possible profile configuration could include:

  • Agent type: Cline
  • Command/path override
  • Optional model/profile selection
  • Workspace binding
  • Session resume support, if available
  • Environment variables or auth configuration, if required

Why this matters

At the moment, Cline can likely be used manually through the terminal, but that is not the same as having it available as a native backend. Native integration would make it much more convenient to use Cline from mobile, browser, or remote sessions while preserving the same workflow already available for Codex.

Acceptance criteria

  • Cline is available as a selectable coding agent backend.
  • A Cline agent profile can be created from Settings.
  • Cline conversations run inside the active workspace.
  • The agent appears in the model selector.
  • Session handling works consistently with the existing native agent backends, where technically possible.
  • Basic setup documentation is added to the README or docs.

Thanks for considering this. Cline support would be a strong addition for users who already use Open WebUI Computer as a remote development environment.
