Hello,

I've discovered an issue where the /compact skill appears to have no effect when invoked.

Steps to reproduce:

Open a chat conversation that has accumulated sufficient message history
Type /compact and send the message
Observe that no compaction occurs — the conversation history remains unchanged and no confirmation or output is provided

Expected behavior:
The /compact skill should summarize or condense the conversation history, freeing up context space.

Actual behavior:
The command is accepted but produces no visible result or change to the conversation.
