Can we have an eject button for model unloading so users can be able to unload models entirely and make way for new ones?
@A402B commented on GitHub (May 5, 2026):
Yes there is one! Click on the name of the model, which will show a dropdown with your other models. A green dot will appear next to the models loaded into your system ram/vram, and a small arrow pointed up will allow you to eject the model. In my experience, you will need to click the eject button a few times for the model to quickly unload.
@Railway9784 commented on GitHub (May 6, 2026):
It works with Ollama. Is this possible with Llama.cpp? I looked around and unable to find anything.
@DjagbleyEmmanuel commented on GitHub (May 8, 2026):
CAn't unload from the UI, needs to close the program and start again
