EDIT: I reviewed the releases and noticed that the escape key dismissal of Spotlight is a feature added in 0.0.6, however it does not work and neither does the click to dismiss functionality. I've since changed this post from a feature request to a bug report.
Spotlight is a great feature, however users may intuitively try and exit the spotlight window by pressing escape, or by pressing the shortcut again. While escape closes the spotlight window, it brings the desktop app out of the system tray into the foreground and forces the user to switch back to what they were doing before manually. I've tried pressing the shortcut again, and it does the same thing, bringing the whole desktop experience to the foreground. Strangely, double pressing the shortcut or triple pressing it quickly enough opens and then closes the app and spotlight, but this is very inconsistent behavior and not explicitly mentioned in the docs, so I'm assuming its an additional bug.
OS: Windows 11
