Description
This PR aims to update the documentation in order to provide instructions for developers on how to install the MariaDB Connector/C on their systems, as it is required to install the
mariadb==1.1.14python package.What Changed
This file has been changed in order to provide clear steps on how to install MariaDB Connector/C for different operative systems, including macOS and Windows
Why?
As of v0.8.10,
libmariadb-devis added to theDockerfilepresumably to enable the installation of themariadb==1.1.14python package. Without it, the installation of the packages withinrequirements.txtis impossible andopen-webuicannot be installed.Note: as
mariadbis not part ofrequirements-min.txtmentioning those instead of therequirements.txtmight also be an alternative to the changes on this PR🔄 This issue represents a GitHub Pull Request. It cannot be merged through Gitea due to API limitations.
