Hi Open WebUI team,

First of all, thank you for the work on Open WebUI and the new OIKB workspace feature.

I’m currently looking into deploying OIKB in a Kubernetes environment and noticed that the documentation explains the feature, but I could not find any official Helm chart or Helm-based deployment instructions for OIKB.

Are there any plans to provide an official Helm chart for OIKB?

It would be very useful for Kubernetes-based deployments, especially for managing configuration, persistence, scaling, upgrades, and integration with existing Open WebUI installations.

Thanks in advance for any information about the roadmap or recommended deployment approach.

Hi @flefevre, thanks for the question. Yes, we are working on OIKB Helm chart, but it's not as straightforward as adding via a subchart as some of our other features since it expects to have an Open WebUI API key that can write to the Knowledge Bases on startup. I am investigating possible solutions to help automate this so it does not require manual steps in the UI to provision, but may settle for the manual step being documented via NOTES.txt if there is not a straightforward solution. I'll make sure to update/ close this issue when a OIKB chart is available.
