mcp setting like follow
{
"mcpServers": {
"baidu-maps": {
"command": "uvx",
"args": ["mcp-server-baidu-maps"],
"env": {
"BAIDU_MAPS_API_KEY": "XXXX"
}
}
}
}
run code with mpo or uvx mpo
could connect and load, but no answer as follow.
Also could not use fetch
@imkebe commented on GitHub (Apr 2, 2025):
Same. it seems no ENV variables are used/passed to the mpc command.
@peanutsugarlove commented on GitHub (Apr 2, 2025):
It seems unable to handle the situation of optional parameters. Some parameters are optional, and if the model does not output that parameter, an error will be reported
@tjbck commented on GitHub (Apr 2, 2025):
@imkebe env vars are definitely being used.
github.com/open-webui/mcpo@1670568e5a/src/mcpo/main.py (L180)Issue seems to be unrelated to env vars.
@tjbck commented on GitHub (Apr 2, 2025):
Please provide a concrete step-by-step guide on how to reproduce.
@flyfox666 commented on GitHub (Apr 3, 2025):
looked at the source code, and then tried to update the pip mcpo today, a few problems have been solved, env can be used, the use of the json format, but the mcp of the baidu map has a problem, the return error, amap map can be used!
