Ah, so the issue here is that this is a streamable HTTP / SSE fallback MCP server, and you're trying to start it via the config.json as a stdio MCP. For SSE and streamable HTTP transport types, you need to run the MCP and provide mcpo with the endpoint to consume it - ie:

    "mcp_sse": {
      "type": "sse"
      "url": "http://127.0.0.1:8001/sse"
    }

or

    "mcp_streamable_http": {
      "type": "streamable_http",
      "url": "http://127.0.0.1:8002/mcp"
    }
  }

Seems like there's definitely room for improvement around user experience here though, as I've actually made the same mistake myself.
