When listing the available models via clip.available_models() ViT-L-14 (as well as RN50x64) are not included. I tried to pip install the repository again via pip install git+https://github.com/openai/CLIP.git but its still not available.

Am I missing something I need to do in order to have these newer models available?

My Output:

>>> clip.available_models()
['RN50', 'RN101', 'RN50x4', 'RN50x16', 'ViT-B/32', 'ViT-B/16']

Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling the package? Alternatively, you can manually download the checkpoint and call clip.load with its path.
