Hi all —

I’m building a cultural AI project to verify Tibetan artisan crafts (e.g., thangka, bronze, pottery) using image classification models like CLIP.

Goal: Create a system to distinguish style/region from images and issue a “certificate of authenticity” to support rural Tibetan artisans.

📦 Budget: $500 (MVP) + $500 after launch
🎓 Recognition, co-authorship or GitHub credit possible
💬 Tools: PyTorch, HuggingFace, low-data augmentation

Would love to connect with anyone who’s worked on:

Visual search or object recognition

Cultural AI or low-resource dataset training

Lightweight image classifiers (ResNet, MobileNet, etc.)
