I directly input the url in my browser, and it showed 404 not found. Is there a new place to store those weights?

are you running this from clip.py directly, or through a wrapper like transformers? i hit this exact thing last week, the url for the weights in clip.py (the one ending in '.pt') started returning 404 for me too. pretty sure openai moved or deprecated the old links, but the docs didn't mention it. honestly, what worked for me was grabbing the weights from the huggingface hub (search 'openai/clip-vit-base-patch32'), then loading them manually. it's a bit hacky but at least it's reliable until the repo updates those urls.
