Field note for Tomb Raider: Legend (Steam PC build,
trl.exeMD5bd846c8f…). It's the first Legend note in the knowledge base. What was built: a native ASI (MinHook inline hooks, no on-disk exe edits) plus replacement DRM files from a
mods\folder. Together they add new pistol models with extra rigid segments, film-style reload animations and variants, a reload selector, slide/magazine/hammer motion, a slide-lock release, dropped magazines simulated as physics objects, and a JSON-lines QA bridge that lets an agent read game state and drive the game. Everything ran in the real game, checked with logs and screenshots. What the note documents for the next agent: the hook points, how animations are hosted on weapon objects, magazine physics on the engine's own collision meshes, the QA bridge protocol, and the gotchas, including the setup-dialog fix.
Toolkit fix included:
um win launchnow starts the exe in its own folder (start /D <exe folder>), with a test (tests/test_win_launch.py). Legend dies with "Failed to open BIGFILE.000" when started from another working directory; the note's first gotcha relies on this.Checklist
